Meet The Rohdes!

Joe and Sarah Rohde met in college. They became best friends over the next few years, and the rest is history! Throughout their relationship, one of the most central themes of their lives has been a passion for helping people. They helped their families, their friends, the people in their neighborhoods, and any city they have lived in.

Something has always stood out. Small businesses. Because they spent so much time around community members, they often found themselves volunteering to help with their businesses! This drove home the longing in their hearts to see local businesses be successsful. Because when local businesses do well, the community thrives.

After traveling the Midwest, they moved to Boise, Idaho, and fell in love with the Western United States. Their travels eventually led them to Monument, Colorado, where they now reside with their dog, Lucy.

This is their story, and their mission is to help you and your business tell yours.

Meet Joe Rohde

Hey there! I'm the developer at Lamplighter Web Design. I have spent my life pursuing my passion of helping people, from churches, to foster kids, and now to small business web development. My mission is to help small businesses get off the ground with a simple and affordable website. I know first hand how hard it can be to afford the essentials for your business, so I'm here to help you do just that.

I've always been the outdoorsy type. I'd rather be outside with a fly rod in my hand, or climbing a nearby mountain, than sitting inside. But when I DO get stuck inside, I love reading, playing board games with anyone who will join, and playing the occassional video games with friends. Needless to say, I love spending time with people. Everytime I meet someone new, my perspective becomes more rich, full, and practical. Which translates really well to understanding the needs, mission, and story of each client that needs a website built.

Meet Sarah Rohde

Thanks for visiting us! Unlike Joe, I'm the INdoorsy type...I even have a sweatshirt that says as much. I have always loved to organize, read, and make people happy. Maybe I should have been a librarian? In all seriousness, I've worked with countless clients to develop a brand, color schemes, and styles that express who they are and what they value. I'd love to do the same for you.

I spent 4 years working in the Chamber of Commerce designing a website, graphics, marketing materials, and social media accounts. Additionally, I had the pleasure of assisting numerous small business owners, and members of the Chamber, in acheiving a voice for their brand in the digital community. Whatever you need for your business, I can help make it a reality.

Although the behind the scenes work is more my style (get it?), I will gladly help you tell your story...but I'll let Joe take you out for coffee!
