How We Design Every Website Around Your Business Brand

authorJoe Rohde Oct 5, 2026

Every business I sit down with already has a brand. Sometimes they know it, sometimes they don't. But it's there. It's in the colors on your truck, the logo on your invoice, the way you answer the phone, and the photos on your phone from last week's job.

My job is to take all of that and put it on the internet. A website is not a separate project from your brand. It's your brand, showing up where most of your customers meet you first.

So we build every site around what makes your business yours.

We Start With What You Already Have

Before I write a line of code, I want your stuff. Your logo files. Your colors, the real ones, not a guess from a screenshot. Your photos of finished work, your crew, your shop, your storefront.

Then I build the design around those things instead of cramming them into a layout that was made for somebody else. Your colors carry through every button, every heading, every section. Your logo sits where it belongs instead of squeezing into a box that fights it. Your photos go front and center.

Real photos of you and your business matters more than you think too. Stock photos of smiling strangers in hard hats do not sell your business. Your actual work does. A customer scrolling your homepage should recognize the truck they saw parked down the street.

We Care What You Want to See

I start the whole process by asking you what you want.

You know your customers better than I ever will. You know what they ask before they book, what makes them nervous, and what finally gets them to call. So we talk about it. What goes on the homepage. What deserves its own page. What colors and design elements you would like. What you honestly don't care about and would rather not pay attention to. Then I build your dream website. If the first draft feels off to you, say so and we change it. Unlimited edits come with every site, so you never get an invoice for swapping a photo or rewriting a paragraph six months from now. Your brand evolves, and your site should evolve with it.

I'd rather ask you five more questions up front than hand you something generic and call it done.

Your Voice Carries Through the Words Too

Design gets all the attention, but your copy is half your brand. A family roofing company and a high-end aesthetics studio should not sound the same, even if they both need five pages and a contact form.

So I write for your customers, in your voice. If you're warm and casual, the site reads warm and casual. If your customers expect precision and technical detail, I give them that instead. Either way, it sounds like you when they call, which means nobody feels bait and switched.

The Technical Foundation Comes Standard

None of that brand work matters if nobody finds the site or nobody can use it. So every website we build includes baseline local SEO, no upsell required.

We handle locally focused on page and technical SEO from day one. Clean title tags. Proper heading structure. Location signals for Monument, Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and the rest of the Front Range. That's the floor, not an add-on, and you should never pay extra for the floor.

We also keep up with current best practices as they shift. We build mobile first, because most of your visitors show up on a phone. We keep pages lean and fast, which keeps people from bouncing before they read your first sentence.

And we include accessibility on every single site. Real color contrast so people can read your text. Alt text on images. Keyboard navigation that actually works.

Why I Build This Way

I hand code every site from scratch instead of using templates, and that's not because I enjoy the extra work. It's because you can't do any of the above inside a prebuilt layout.

A template decides your priorities before it ever meets you. Building from scratch means your business drives the design, not the other way around. Same reason our sites load in under a second and score 95 to 100 on Google PageSpeed. When you build only what a business needs, there's nothing left over to slow it down.
