I'm Joe Rohde. My wife Sarah and I run Lamplighter Web Design out of Monument, Colorado, but Boise and Nampa are home turf for us. We lived in the Treasure Valley before we moved to Colorado, and we still build websites for businesses there. The Treasure Valley was home, so this is not a company that found Boise on a map. We know the towns, the traffic and how differently Boise and Nampa businesses sell.
Day to day the work is the same as it is for a client twenty minutes from us: a call at the start, design you comment on, and changes by text afterwards. Almost nothing about building a website actually requires being in the room.

Only if what you get is better, and there are two things that usually are.
The first is the build itself. Very few shops anywhere hand-code, because it is slower to produce and harder to sell. It is also the reason these sites load in under a second.
The second is the terms. No setup fee, a flat monthly, and changes included. A local agency quoting four thousand upfront is asking you to take the risk before you see the result.
You own your domain from the first day, and it stays in your name rather than ours. That is not negotiable and we set it up that way deliberately.
The initial term is twelve months and after that thirty days notice. If you leave, your domain leaves with you and points wherever you want.
This is worth asking any web company, and the answer is not always this one. Plenty of platforms build you a site on ground you are renting.
Photos you send us, and most clients have more usable ones on their phone than they think. If what you have is thin we will say so and tell you exactly what to take.
The writing is ours. You do not need to produce copy, and you do not need to fill in a worksheet. A conversation about the business gives us more than a questionnaire does.
