Silver Spoons Catering & Events
A family-run Denver caterer for weddings, corporate events and celebrations of life. We built them a website that shows off the food, answers the planning questions, and lets people book a consultation in a couple of taps. It has been booking consultations ever since.

A Family Tradition of Hospitality
Denise founded Silver Spoons Catering & Events in Denver in 2005, after more than 30 years in restaurants and hospitality. Her daughters, Julia and Laura, took over the company eleven years ago and have grown it into a full-service catering and events team for weddings, corporate events, celebrations of life, holiday parties and private celebrations.
In 2026 Silver Spoons was named Best Catering Company in both Colorado Biz's Best of Colorado and Best of Mile High. Their corporate clients include names like Coca-Cola, T-Mobile and Children's Hospital Colorado, alongside the families who trust them with weddings and milestones.
The challenge: a big decision for a specific date
Nobody hires a caterer on impulse. A couple planning a wedding or an office manager planning a holiday party wants to see the food, read the menus, understand what it will cost, and trust the team before they hand over their date. Then they want an easy way to ask about that date. Silver Spoons needed a website that did all of that, and made reaching out feel like the obvious next step.
A 42-Page Website, Hand-Coded From Scratch
No WordPress, no page builder, no template. Every page was written and built for Silver Spoons, and every one of them leads to the same place: a booked consultation, an inquiry or an order.

Elegant, and always one click from booking
The design matches the brand: soft colors, a script logo and real photos of their own events. "Plan Your Event" sits in the hero and in the header on every page, next to the phone number and an "Order Online" link for party platters.

Book a consultation without picking up the phone
On a phone, a "Book Now" button stays in the header. It opens the Plan Your Event page, where a visitor picks a time for a free 15-minute consultation right on the page. Anyone not ready to pick a time can send a quick note instead. That page alone accounts for most of the 309 consultations booked.

A page for every kind of event
Weddings, corporate catering, celebrations of life, baby showers, breakfasts and holiday parties each have their own page, written for the person planning that event. Behind them sit the menus, from appetizers and stations to seasonal and vegetarian favorites, plus seven planning guides that answer questions like what wedding catering costs.

Smaller orders that sell themselves
Not every customer needs a full event. The party platters page explains what each platter feeds and keeps an "Order Online" button on screen, linking straight to their ordering system. Across the site, visitors clicked through to order 609 times in fifteen weeks.

What the Website Has Produced
These numbers come straight from Lamplighter Analytics, Google Search Console, our rank checks and Silver Spoons' Google Business Profile. Nothing is estimated. We work on Silver Spoons' marketing together with Sarah Shipp of Shipp Shape Digital, and these results come from that collaboration: we plan the strategy and the pages together, and we build them into a fast, hand-coded site.
